Lovely music, giggles and colourful stalls made the afternoon scorching heat seem so pleasant. I was immersed in the lovely ambience sipping the cooling coconut water. Surrounding me, were the bead creations that I created all year long - Name Tags with beaded characters, Theme-based skirts with bead danglers for girls and ladies, Bead Jewellery,... to name a few. Yes! We had yet another stall, like every year in the BIG Diwali Mela at Primus Public School. A girl came strolling to our stall. Looking around, what first stroke her attention was the band of beads banner. She studied it for quite some time. Touched it. Pondered over it. I just sat on my chair and observed her. Later, she glanced at our products. She had the Alice in wonderland look on her face! I kept observing her and loved her imagination. After a while, she asked, "Did YOU make all this?" "I can buy something with this!", I said, as I opened my pocket-money wallet. I was pretty sure that I would get SOMETHING!!! I took my handbag and stepped out of my house. With a lot of ideas in mind, I strolled in the nearest market. First, came some toy shops. "Wow! This would be so cool to buy!" But, as the human tendency goes, I wanted something which I did not have or desired to have. Walking further, I passed through all sorts of shops - branded clothes, electronic goods, home decor,.... I really got confused - what to buy? I decided to take a pause near an ice-cream parlor. I chose my favourite flavour. In a few moments, a scoop was served in an eco-friendly cup. "This ice-cream does taste different!", I thought as I relished one spoonful after another. It had lots of fresh ingredients. The skirt was sitting in the hand-made paper bag, ready to be delivered to our customer.  "Wow! Is that skirt really going out of my precious collection?", I thought. Right from the fabric to the dangler, this skirt (like all the skirts) was designed with great care.... Days passed. The skirt was packed in the bags and traveled to the USA. I got a Facebook message from my customer, which went like this: "Lovely skirt!" What made this message more special was the photograph of the little girl adorning the skirt. She had a BIG smile on her face! It made my day! Another customer wanted to buy skirts for gifting. After a few days, she came back for more! She showed me a picture. That of the girl to whom she gifted the skirt. She was wearing it. Her expression was priceless! I was thrilled! One of my other customers did a very warm gesture for appreciation. Her daughter was wearing the skirt when she met me! It filled my heart with joy to see her running aro
